RED SUNSET
About the Artwork
One July afternoon, I found myself in a field flooded with an extraordinary red light.
Just before everything fades, there can be one last surge of life.
The sun descends, and the entire landscape seems to gather itself into one final moment of intensity. The flowers, the earth, the air and the sky are immersed in a deep red light, as if nature itself is reaching a moment of absolute fullness.
It is not simply the end of the day.
It is the moment before everything changes — when what is ending and what is about to begin exist together, suspended in light. cm · Oil on canvas
