I remember that autumn afternoon as a quiet invitation.
Standing beside the crystal-clear waters of the Voidomatis, I was immersed in the gentle rhythm of the river, the earthy fragrance of wild herbs, and the sunlight filtering through the ancient plane trees in countless shades of green, gold and yellow.
I was not simply painting what I saw. I was trying to capture what I felt — the sense that light does not merely illuminate nature, but breathes through it.
What remained with me was not only the landscape, but the stillness of that moment: the river moving quietly beneath the trees, the light passing through the leaves, and a profound sense of being part of what surrounded me.
This painting holds the memory of that encounter.
