About the Artwork
I did not begin this painting with a specific form in mind. I began with a feeling — the sense of a breath rising from the deeper layers of being.
As the brush moved across the canvas, I felt as though it were following the rhythm of breathing. With each inhale and exhale, subtle waves of light, mist, and air unfolded outward, gradually beginning to take shape.
Not a body bound to matter, but a presence briefly taking human form so that it might become visible — a soul suspended in freedom, serene and pure.
The soft lines and translucent textures emerged like smoke dissolving into light, like energy becoming visible for a fleeting moment. Through this process, a being began to appear — one that seems to exist between the inner and outer worlds, between what can be seen and what can only be felt.
Perhaps the soul has no true form. But if I could imagine it in its purest and most luminous expression, this is how I would see it: airy, calm, free — carried by the very breath that gave it life.
